    Check compatibility
When buying a Bluetooth headset, the most important question is whether the phone is compatible with the headset. Some Bluetooth headsets are not compatible with mobile phones, mainly because of different specifications. Bluetooth headsets now have two main specifications-HandProfile (HFP) and HeadsetPro-file (HSP). HFP stands for hands-free function, while HSP stands for headset function. Consumers must first figure out which specifications their mobile phones support, and then choose a suitable Bluetooth headset to pair with.

The Bluetooth headset in HFP format supports more complete functions of the mobile phone. Consumers can use the headset to operate the hands-free options such as redial, call retention, and call rejection. Almost all Bluetooth headsets introduced by Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson support the HFP format. There are also some models that support both HFP and HSP.

    Second question transmission distance
The transmission distance of Bluetooth headsets is also a concern. The transmission distance of the Bluetooth headset has nothing to do with the Bluetooth version, but mainly depends on the advanced level of technology. The standard transmission distance of PowerClass2 is 10 meters; the upgraded PowerClass1 will increase the transmission distance to 100 meters and provide Hi-Fi stereo effects. Generally speaking, the distance between the mobile phone and the Bluetooth headset is not too far, and the safer transmission distance is about 2 meters to 3 meters.

Three look at the chip brand
At present, there are two major companies in the chip supplier of Bluetooth headsets, one is CRS in the United Kingdom, and the other is Zeevo in the United States. CRS products account for more than 80% of the market.

    Four-choice version
When consumers purchase Bluetooth headsets, they often see numbers such as Bluetooth 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, etc. These numbers represent different versions and also represent the anti-interference ability of the headset. The different versions of Bluetooth are related to the quality of the received signal. The new version emphasizes the ability to overcome noise interference. The new version can be backward compatible, consumers should weigh the price and demand when purchasing.

The appearance and wearing comfort of Bluetooth headsets are also the keys that consumers must pay attention to when purchasing. Every face shape is different, users should try the wearing comfort before buying, and then buy.
